Modernize 'except' clauses
The 'as' syntax works from Python 2 on, and Python 3 will
drop the "comma" syntax.

Raise right exception if domain name is not valid
Because of dnspython implementation, in some cases UnicodeError is
raised instead of DNS SyntaxError
